RuPay Debit Card

Your Bank, The Kunbi Sahakari Bank Ltd; Mumbai, in association with RuPay has launched the Kunbi Sahakari Bank RuPay Debit card for your prime convenience. Now, you can enjoy this handiness service anywhere (in India), anytime for banking transactions at any ATM’s functional across INDIA.
Kindly find the general guidelines for the usage of RuPay Debit card as mentioned below on ATM machine in NFS network as per the transaction amount up to Rs. 10000. The RuPay Debit card lets you conveniently access your account through ATM’s displaying
logo on the ATM machine or on/in the ATM cabin anywhere in INDIA.

General Guidelines / Safety Tips: -
- Sign on the signature panel on the back of the card instantly as the card received.
- On receipt of your new card, immediately use your card at the ATM to change the system generated SECRET PIN provided by the Bank to 4 digit SECRET PIN of your choice.
- Once the SECRET PIN is changed then, memorise the new 4 digit SECRET PIN set by you and destroy the SECRET PIN mailer provided by the Bank. It is advisable to change the SECRET PIN frequently.
- Do not disclose your SECRET PIN with anybody, including your family members, friend and to any Bank staff. Note: - Bank never asks for ATM card number, ATM SECRET PIN, ATM CVV number and OTP.
- Never take help from any stranger for performing transaction in ATM cabin.
- Always cover your SECRET PIN while entering in ATM machine in such a way that the other person will not be able to see your SECRET PIN.
- Avoid writing SECRET PIN on the ATM card or on paper always memorise the same.
- Do not forgot to take card from ATM machine after completion of transaction.
Taking care of your card: -
- Keep your card safely.
- Avoid keeping card near to the electronic device like T.V, Computer, gadgets etc. as the back side of the card contains Magnetic strip.
- Do not keep your card at the place which is easily accessible for public or unattended.
- Keep your card in secure place so that you can immediately know it is missing.
- Never scratch EMV Chip and Magnetic strip of your ATM card.
- Always keep 2 Magnetic chip cards separately.
- Always keep the card in such a way that it should not bend.
- Avoid ATM card from getting direct contact to sunlight.
Brief about ATM technology: -
- By using ATM card facility cash can be available in 60 seconds at any time from ATM machine.
- Account balance can be check/verified at ATM machine.
- Mini-statement can be print showing recent 3-5 transactions from ATM machine.
Tips to use the Bank RuPay Debit Card for cash withdrawals at ATM machine: -
- Step 1: Insert your card into the ATM at the slot indicated with blinking light. The card will get automatically latched/retained in the ATM machine till the transaction is completed.
- Step 2: The ATM screen will prompt for language selection, next screen of menu option, select appropriate option on menu screen as per type of transaction to be done.
- Step 3: Next screen will be Insert your PIN (here insert your SECRET PIN set by you).
Note: Insert your PIN screen appears early or lastly in ATM machine as per the configuration of the respective Bank.
- Step 4: Take your card after completion of transaction.
Tips to use the Bank RuPay Debit Card for Merchant Establishment or Point Of Sale (POS) transactions: -
- Present your RuPay debit card for POS transaction at merchant establishment for transaction.
- Merchant will swipe the card on POS terminal/machine and enter the amount of your transaction.
- Merchant will move or provide the POS terminal/machine to you for entering your SECRET PIN on the keypad.
- The transaction will be authenticated and sale receipt will be generated of your transaction.
- Verify the amount and sign on the receipt of merchant copy.
- Do not forgot to take your customer receipt and Debit card.
Information about appearance/look of The Kunbi Sahakari Bank Ltd; Mumbai, Debit card: -
Front Side:
- EMV Chip: Having information regarding your account, SECRET PIN, Validity etc. Take care of the card so as to EMV Chip does not get tear or scratched.
- Debit Card Number: This is unique 16 digit card number. Make this number available in all correspondence and communication with the bank.
- Debit Card Holder Name: It will display the name as provided by you in ATM form submitted to the branch for issuance.
- Expiry Date: It will show validity/expiry of the card in MM/YY format.
- RuPay Logo: Any ATM or POS terminal having RuPay logo would accept your debit card across INDIA.
- Wi-Fi Logo: It indicates that the POS terminal enabled with Wi-Fi transaction for RuPay debit card will be accepted.
Back Side:
- Magnetic Strip: A black strip having information regarding your account, SECRET PIN, Validity etc. Take care of the card so as to magnetic strip does not get tear or scratched.
- Signature Panel: A white strip on which you have to sign once the card is received. Sign should be done with non-erasable ball pen and with black ink.
- Card Verification Value (CVV): It is 3 digit number at the back side at the end of the white strip of signature panel, which is used for performing e-commerce (E-com) online transactions.
